Now a days, a problem is very popular in which various Drives can't be opened in double click and show "Open With" message window. Lots of my friends also suffer from this problem and asks for the solution. Let's have some knowlege about the root of this problem:-
This occurs due to virus which usually comes by connecting infected Pen Drive. This virus creates a file named "Autorun.inf" in a root of every drive so that whenever the drive is opened the virus or worm runs.
So, here I am providing solution to tackle this problem. There are two methods:- Temporary & Permanent. I woluld like to discuss both of them.
Right click the infected drive and click on "Open With". It opens a window like shown below:
Click on the "Internet Explorer". It will open the drive but you have to do this everytime.
So here is the permanent solution for this.
I am providing you a batch file named "Autorun Remover.bat" which contain a dos program that will remove the virus from each drive.
Simply Download this file and run by double click on it and restart your system. Your problem will be solved.
